Terms of Service

01Using the service

These terms apply when you or your organization create a workspace and use the platform, including Survey Builder, Panel Reach, AI Insight Miner, NPS Tracker, Interview Notes, Concept Tester and Insight Reports. By signing up, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for your organization.

02Accounts and seats

• Each seat is for one named researcher. Log-in details must not be shared.
• You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for keeping credentials secure.
• Tell us promptly through the Research Desk if you suspect unauthorised access.

03Plans, responses and billing

Plans include a monthly allowance of completed responses. A response is one completed survey; partial responses, screen-outs and over-quota respondents are not counted.

• Responses above your allowance are billed at your plan's per-response rate, or drawn from a prepaid bundle.
• Monthly allowances reset each billing month. Prepaid bundles are valid for 12 months.
• Interview transcription is billed per audio hour, by the minute.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Annual plans may be invoiced in INR with GST.
• The free plan covers one survey with up to 300 responses.

04Responsible research

You agree to run research honestly and to treat respondents fairly. In particular, you will:

• tell respondents who is asking and why, and collect their consent before they take part;
• only invite people by email, SMS or WhatsApp where you have a lawful basis and their permission to contact them;
• obtain participant consent before recording interviews or focus groups;
• honour opt-outs and requests from respondents to access or delete their data;
• not present AI-generated themes or summaries as final findings without researcher review.

05Things you may not do

• Send spam, or use surveys to sell, fundraise or collect data under false pretences (sugging and frugging).
• Collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords through surveys.
• Run surveys aimed at children without verifiable parental consent.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harassing or infringes others' rights.
• Probe, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the service.

06Your data

You own your surveys, responses, contact lists, recordings and reports. You give us permission to host and process them only to provide the service to you. We never sell your data and never use it to train models for other customers.

You can export your data to Excel, CSV and SPSS at any time.

07AI features

AI themes, sentiment scores, driver analysis, transcripts and summaries are produced automatically and can contain errors. Every output links to its source so you can verify it. You remain responsible for the conclusions you draw and the decisions you make.

08Availability and support

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance. Support channels depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page. Research House plans may include a separate service level agreement.

09Suspension and termination

You can cancel at any time from account settings. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms, puts respondents at risk, or has an unpaid invoice more than 30 days overdue, and we will tell you why.

After termination your data remains available for export for 30 days and is then deleted.

10Liability

The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
